If you are a member of more than one affiliate program you will be spending lots of money and effort in promoting all of them. Having a website of your own eliminates this by allowing you to promote all these programs in one website. This will reduce the effort promoting each single affiliate link and also save you thousands of advertising dollars.
If you have your own website you can make extra money by monetizing it. You can sign up for advertising from Google Adsense, Pepperjam ads or other advertising companies. Selling advertising on your website will give you extra income.
You can also add landing pages to your website hosting account and build your own list directly. Having your own website gives you flexibility to do many things that you couldn’t do without one.
Ultimately it comes down to your goals in making money as affiliate online or starting a home business income opportunity. It is possible to make money by promoting an affiliate website however, having your own website has more benefits in the long run.
