Too many newcomers to internet marketing are confused as to what business and internet marketing really is. Ask many what business they are in and they’ll tell you internet marketing – but IM is not a business. All the term means is to market on the internet. You still need to be in business which means that you have to sell something. Otherwise, how do you think you’ll get any money?

I was enlightened by this post, great! Internet marketing was actually not a business but a medium or vehicle to market your product or services on the internet. Wow! wisely said, coz many newbies in the internet world was thinking about this also, just as if the two terms were synonyms. But there not. They both have different meanings
I know this was a bit confusing, coz marketing is part of selling and selling is business right?

If done the right way, Internet marketing has a broader customer base so a better opportunity to earn more. It could be the other way round if one doesn’t stick to the basics – IM is not a hobby, it is a business.
Agreed about auto blogging. I’ve sold a few auto blogs myself. However, the problem is most auto blogs are craps and doomed to bring losses to the owner. It’s best to keep off them unless you are clear about why you want to create an auto blog, what do you plan to achieve and how are you going to achieve your goal creating the auto blog?
Another thing to keep in mind when creating auto blogs is how do you plan to bring in traffic? When most of the top most search engines are doing their best to prune their “search results” off “content farms”.
